Jeff Stubbs, Custom Integrators (Past President) – Vision Award Winner
A new award added in 2015, the Vision Award recognizes the individual who demonstrates a commitment to growth, opportunity and development in the greater Hewitt economy. The winner of this award also recognizes the importance of community relationships and preparing for the well-being of the Chamber’s long-term future. The Chamber is honored to present 2016’s Vision Award to Past President, Jeff Stubbs with Custom Integrators.
Bush’s Chicken – Business of the Year
The Business of the Year award demonstrates all-around support to the chamber, its mission and the community’s development. Bush’s Chicken Hewitt has established a strong reputation of being community-minded by constantly supporting both chamber and city functions and contributing to the overall momentum of greater Hewitt.
Alee Walker, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Hillcrest, Volunteer of the Year
The Volunteer Award recognizes individuals who combine a strong vision for furthering the chamber’s mission with the leadership skills to organize fellow volunteers to see that vision to fruition. This year’s recipient was instrumental in the success of the Chamber’s 2016 Banquet, Golf Tournament Membership Drive, and provided direction for the Chamber’s community relations efforts. The Chamber congratulates Alee Walker with Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Hillcrest for winning the 2016 Volunteer of The Year Award.
Jeff Nunes, Waddell & Reed, Ambassador of The Year
A Greater Hewitt Chamber Ambassador serves as the face of the organization, increases member activity and displays a high degree of professional community involvement. The Ambassador receiving this honor consistently demonstrated leadership to our local businesses and members by serving on the Chamber’s retention committee as well as attending several ribbon cutting ceremonies in welcoming new members to the Chamber. The Chamber is thrilled to recognize Jeff Nunes with Waddell & Reed as the 2016 Ambassador of the Year.
Orangetheory Fitness Waco – New Member of the Year
Joining the chamber in May of 2016, Orangetheory Fitness Waco has been active and dedicated to the chamber’s success. Orangetheory shares inspiration with the community and membership.
Years of Service award – Patricia Breen and Lane Westerfield
The Chamber has a rich history and it would not be in the position it’s in today without the dedication, leadership and contribution support from our directors. It’s our pleasure to present years of service awards to Pat Breen with Action Fire Pros (6 years of services) and Lane Westerfield with Grande Communications (5 years of service).
