Our goal is to be one of the highest performing chambers in service and community development in the state of Texas by continuing to provide quality information to members, attract visitors to the area through signature events and building positive rapport between the community and its residents.

2025 Small Business Marketing Package applications are now open!

The Greater Hewitt Chamber is proud to serve small businesses in our community. The chamber launched this initiative to allow members in business for less than 3 years and employing less than a staff of 20 to apply. The winner receives a $2,000 Marketing Package, customizable to fit their business needs, in order to boost small business efforts. The winner demonstrates a unique drive and determination in establishing business growth in the greater Hewitt area

Criteria to Apply: Must be a Greater Hewitt Chamber Member; Must be in business for 3 years or less as of January 6, 2025, and have less than 20 employees.

The Greater Hewitt Chamber has always believed in helping our members and community. The Chamber focuses its efforts on giving back to our members and the communities we serve. By giving back in scholarships, we’re able to support education opportunities, develop a strong labor force, create business member internship opportunities, create education and business relationships and much, much more. Businesses appreciate an opportunity to associate their brand with supporting our youth! The Greater Hewitt Chamber Scholarship Fund, created in 2008, awards scholarships to Midway High School Seniors, seniors employed by or seniors that have a parent employed at a current member business, articulate by essay why they should be awarded the scholarship, and demonstrate by essay an understanding why the Chamber is important to them and to their community. Recipients are recognized each January at the GHCOC Membership Banquet!

2025 Annual Banquet “Let it Roll” Set for February 20, 2025!

   
This signature event is a popular event with an average attendance of 400 or more, which begins with live music, a catered dinner, casino, cash bar, raffle and plenty of time for networking. Our event will include the President’s annual report, a brief speech from the incoming Chamber president, City of Hewitt update and award recognition for Business of the Year, New Member of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year awards. The scholarship presentation will follow.

The organization will strive to foster, protect, and promote the commercial, industrial, civic, agricultural, and general interests of the greater Hewitt community.

The Greater Hewitt Chamber is an active, growing organization comprised of local professionals and leaders dedicated to serving our community.

Our vision is to be one of the highest performing chambers in service and community development in the state of Texas by continuing to provide quality information to members, attract visitors to the area and maintaining positive rapport between the community and residents.

To consistently seek community needs and opportunities to excel while evaluating the chamber’s services. The chamber connects our members to leaders and legislators for providing relevant and up-to-date information for small business operations. to utilize access for resources available through the largest business networks in the nation.

We strive to be one of the highest performing chambers in service and community development in the state of Texas by providing quality information to members and visitors in the area.

As of now, the Chamber represents over 500 members, 26,000 jobs and 35+ local, state and federal partnerships with $100,000 awarded to local students through the Greater Hewitt Chamber Scholarship Fund since 2008.
