Founded in the late 1800’s, the city of Hewitt has grown from a small farming community to a city full of loyal residents and growing businesses. The city of Hewitt has grown to be a city that flourishes with growing families, growing businesses while still being a lovely place to retire and even vacation. Wherever you are in life, Hewitt can accommodate.

The Greater Hewitt Chamber of Commerce has much to do with this success. Staffed by an amazing team, and the help of wonderful volunteers the chamber does a fantastic job of making sure that the Hewitt businesses and residents get connected in order to make this city truly feel like home. Our signature events throughout the year bring current residents and businesses together for fun, cooperative community building. Making sure that all businesses in the greater Hewitt area are well informed of networking opportunities and business building educational meetings, the chamber provides various advertising opportunities so that local businesses can reach area residents.

The Greater Hewitt Chamber’s staff, directors and volunteers are privileged to give back to the community by serving several local organizations, including Christian Women’s Job Corps, Shepherd’s heart Food Pantry, Hunger Free Midway ISD, Midway ISD Education Foundation, Hewitt Lion & Kiwanis Clubs and Caritas of Waco.    Looking back over the year 2022 has been very encouraging as I have seen the Greater Hewitt residents & businesses continue to love, serve and grow this wonderful community.

As we look forward to the 2023 year the Greater Hewitt Chamber will continue to offer endless benefits to our members while keeping the safety of our community a top priority. The founders of Hewitt strived to build this amazing community we enjoy today, as we enter 2023 the Greater Hewitt Chamber of Commerce will continue to strive to be a community expanding in prosperity and growth.
