The Teddy Bear Clinic we held on January 4th in conjunction with our “Running for Readers and Community Health Fair,” proved to be quite the event!  Mrs. Betty Young, the instructor of our Sewing Club, three Sewing Club members, and one volunteer, gave of their time to repair the stuffed animals!  We had a total of 17 stuffed animals repaired, whose owners ranged from ages preschool to adult, a true representation of the community spirit.  It was really hard to tell who got the greatest joy…those doing the repairs or those whose “lovies” were repaired.  As the saying goes…a picture paints a thousand words…
